Fox, MSN stream news

CyberBiz Brief and Microsoft’s MSN portal have both launched new streaming video services on their Web sites.

“Fox News Access” features streaming video clips from Fox News reports on a variety of topics, while Microsoft’s new MSN Video will offer clips from NBC and sister cable networks CNBC and MSNBC, Discovery Channel and Showtime, among others.

Both services are supported by streaming media advertisements and are free to consumers. Approach contrasts with that of ABC News and other providers who offer their content through RealNetworks’ RealOne subscription plan.
