Pub vet moves into CEO post of Premier
LONDON — Sara Keene has been appointed as CEO of Premier PR, the British entertainment PR agency.
Keene was previously one of three co-managing directors at Premier, alongside Ginger Corbett and Chris Paton.
Corbett and Paton remain in their original positions, and are joined on the board of directors by Laurence Atkinson (director of U.K. film), Melissa Hall-Smith (director of TV) and Abigail Ault (director of business affairs).
Keene’s new role as chief exec gives her overall responsibility for corporate expansion, business development, marketing, quality control, employee development and performance. She will continue to work with her own longstanding clients, such as Ralph Fiennes.
Keene co-founded PR agency Corbett and Keene, which was sold to Miracle Media Group in 2000, and merged with two other companies to form Premier PR in 2001. Since then, the outfit has doubled in size, acquiring two more PR companies and opening an L.A. office.
