Discovery Nets ups ad man Carrozza

Exec spent 17 years as VP of sales planning for ABC Fam

HOLLYWOOD — Discovery Networks has upped John Carrozza to senior VP of advertising revenue and planning and national ad sales. He will report to ad sales prexy Joe Abruzzese in New York.

Carrozza will oversee inventory portfolio management for Discovery’s 14 U.S. networks, ad sales proposals submitted to agencies and Discovery’s direct response unit.

Carrozza spent 17 years as exec VP of sales planning for ABC Family Channel/Disney Kids Network before joining Discovery.
