RSA USA and Anonymous Content took top awards at Monday’s 12th annual Assn. of Independent Commercial Producers award show, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
RSA USA and its affiliate Transmission at RSA racked up the most honors of any production company with 12 kudos (11 by RSA USA) in 10 categories, including excellence in a single commercial for Nike’s “Move”; and excellence in a campaign for BMW of North America’s mini movies “Hostage,” “Ticker” and “Beat the Devil.”
Anonymous Content took home 10 honors in nine different categories, including single commercial and campaign awards for a spot called “Squares” for Volkswagen of America. Other Anonymous awards were for advertisers Budweiser, Nike and Adidas.
Agency awardees included Wieden+Kennedy, which won 12 honors in eight categories, including two in excellence in a single commercial for Nike (“Move” and “Streaker”).
Among advertisers, Nike scored highest with nine honors, Volkswagen had eight; BMW of North America had six and Budweiser five.
Selections were made by 400 judges from advertising agencies, production companies and editorial shops.
