Pie Town Prods. has added three executive positions as the company ramps up to produce more than 500 episodes of reality skeins for cabler Home and Garden over the next two years.
Execs moving into newly created positions are Eric Black as creative director, Sean Fitzgibbons as executive in charge of production and Dana Besnoy as director of post-production. Trio most recently served in various capacities on Pie Town and Paramount Domestic Television’s syndicated skein “Life Moments.”
Pie Town is set to produce more than 100 episodes each of HGTV’s top three rated shows “Design on a Dime,” “House Hunters” and “Designers’ Challenge.”
Black will share in the oversight of the creative direction of Pie Town’s skeins while Fitzgibbons will oversee production logistics, scheduling and budgets and Besnoy will oversee post-production activities.
Pie Town has 11 series on the air, including eight on HGTV, and is producing pilots for VH1, CMT and A&E.
