“Pop Idol” creator Simon Fuller is planning to launch a global music brandnext year.

I Love Music will offer a vast catalog of third-party-owned music content to consumers over various platforms including TV, mobile phones, online and traditional retail.

Fuller hopes to sign five or so global partnership deals over the next six months. He has held discussions with key record com-panies about supplying content.

“There are a huge number of people who love music but don’t know how to get it and don’t buy it,” said Fuller. “My goal is to reconnect these people into the music industry and to plug them into all the new music that is happening.”
