Elton tuner fetes its first anni

Ben Elton‘s Queen-drenched musical “We Will Rock You” celebrated its first anniversary in London’s West End June 18 with rock stars past, present and maybe future in attendance. Notables from the past included ’60s Brit invasion stars Lulu and Dave Clark. Queen guitarist Brian May and the legendary band’s drummer Roger Taylor were joined by Kashmira Cooke, sister of the late Freddie Mercury, for the unveiling of a photo exhibit depicting the charismatic lead singer’s life.
