Friday’s preem party for Disney’s “Holes” took on an appropriately family feel.
Sigourney Weaver hugged dimpled moppet Khleo Thomas while L.A. Laker Rick Fox got a digital shot of co-star Shia Labeouf as Fox’s wife, Vanessa Williams, looked on.
“He made us all a family,” said Jon Voight of paternal helmer Andy Davis, who called his production a “love fest.”
Michael Eisner left the digging early with a chocolate banana in hand, but Buena Vista Pictures Group prexy Nina Jacobson stayed to boast about the Mouse House: “A book that is this important to kids, I feel it is only right that we should be the ones to do it.”
Hollywood & Highland’s Annex was filled with campers of all ages, including Disney’s Dick Cook, Bob Iger, Oren Aviv, scripter Louis Sachar, pic’s Byron Cotton and Brenden Jefferson, along with villain Tim Blake Nelson. David Hasselhoff, Corbin Bernsen, Christopher McDonald and Wendie Malick with kids in tow were also seen plowing into food and drink.
