Looks like Al Gore is headed for a perfect record this legit season. At Thursday night’s opening for “Urban Cowboy,” the former vice president admitted that his last Broadway preem was the short-lived “Dance of the Vampires.”Democratic bigwig Lawrence Horowitz helped produce the undead tuner, and Gore said he knows “Cowboy” book writer Aaron Latham and his wife, CBS’ Leslie Stahl. “I e-mailed him an invitation,” Stahl revealed. Remembering back to the misfortune of “Vampires,” Gore could only grimace: “It looks like I’m one for two.” At least for the present. Producers of “Urban Cowboy” put up a closing notice on Friday, then took it down the very next day.
