Comic-thesp Dave Chappelle (“Undercover Brother”) has signed with United Talent Agency for representation in film and television.

Comedy Central recently bowed “Chapelle’s Show,” a variety/sketch skein that bowed in January. Skein’s premiere averaged 2.54 million viewers, built impressively on its “South Park” lead-in and scored the best-ever adults 18-49 premiere numbers for a Comedy Central series.

Thesp’s feature credits include “The Nutty Professor,” “You’ve Got Mail,” “Con Air” and “Blue Streak.” Chappelle, who had been with CAA, is also a recurring commentator on NBC’s “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.”
