Former studio executive and veteran entertainment industry investment consultant Arthur E. Rockwell died Friday in Los Angeles after a long illness. He was 65.
The New York native earned his bachelor’s degree at Manhattan U. and his master’s at UC Berkeley. He began work with Bank of America and Security Pacific as an entertainment industry consultant and then joined Los Angeles-based Crowell, Weedon & Co. as senior VP of the brokerage’s entertainment group.
Rockwell also worked for MGM and Turner Entertainment as VP of corporate relations before founding Rockwell Communications and Capital Management, an entertainment industry investment consultancy.
He is survived by wife Joan.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at St. Robert Bellarmine in Burbank. Donations be made in Rockwell’s name to the church’s scholarship fund.
