Wiley joins WMA’s busy TV division

Exec to focus on nonfiction packages, rep talent

Regency TV creative exec Marcus Wiley has ankled the company to join William Morris as a television lit agent.

Tenpercentery has also upped Evan Warner to agent in the TV department, where he’ll focus on nonfiction packages and rep nonfiction talent. Moves rep the latest addition to WMA’s TV agent roster, which has been growing in recent months.

Agency TV lit topper Lanny Noveck called Wiley “extremely bright, a very strategic thinker (and) aggressive. He has very deep relationships in the creative community with both writers and executives.”

At Regency, Wiley was a creative exec in both comedy and drama development. He also worked on Regency skeins including “Malcolm in the Middle.”

As for Warner, he trained on the desks of various WMA agents, working with clients such as Ryan Seacrest and Larry King, before being upped to agent.

Mark Itkin, WMA exec VP and worldwide head of syndie, cable and nonfiction, called Warner “a welcome addition to our already strong team.”
