Cartoon Network has upped sales execs John O’Hara and Joe Hogan.
Gotham-based O’Hara moves up to senior VP of sales and marketing, reporting to exec VP Kim McQuilken.
O’Hara will continue to manage day-to-day business of the New York sales office for both Cartoon and sibling net Kids’ WB. (The two divisions were unified earlier this year.) O’Hara will also oversee national inventory and sales guidelines for Cartoon.
VP of sales and marketing since 2002, O’Hara handled the ad sales efforts of Cartoon’s Web site. Before joining the net in 1999, he was VP and New York sales manager for CNN Sales.
Hogan has been given his VP stripes and named national sales manager. Besides his management of Cartoon and Kids’ WB sales offices in Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago and L.A., he remains responsible for TBS and TNT sales in the Midwest. Chicago-based Hogan will report to McQuilken on all Cartoon matters and Linda Yaccarino, general manager of Turner ad sales.
Hogan joined Turner Broadcasting Sales in 1987 as a regional account exec. After a three-year stint at Fox, he returned to Turner in 2000 as VP and Midwest sales manager. His other titles at Turner have included VP of sales for the Far East and Asia Pacific for net’s international divisions.
