Add another trio of pilots to Warner Bros. TV’s drama roster.
The WB network has picked up the pilots “Fearless,” which WBTV will produce with Jerry Bruckheimer TV, and “Raven,” a WBTV co-production with Tollin-Robbins Prods.
WBTV has also landed ABC’s untitled hotel-themed project from Armyan Bernstein, which was previously not set up at a studio.
“Raven,” from scribe Mark Schwahn, focuses on two brothers who are estranged but happen to live in the same town. The siblings, who share a love for basketball, must deal with each other when they fall in love with the same girl.
Tollin-Robbins’ Mike Tollin, Brian Robbins and Joe Davola will exec produce “Raven.”
“Fearless,” meanwhile, is based on Francine Pascal’s series of young-adult novels (Daily Variety, Nov. 8).
From writers Vincent Ngo and Evan Charnov, the project revolves around a woman who’s born without the fear gene and who winds up recruited by the FBI.
Bruckheimer will exec produce “Fearless,” along with Jonathan Littman and Jeremy Littman.
As for the Alphabet web’s Bernstein project, it was originally expected to be set up at sibling studio Touchstone (Daily Variety, Jan. 22).
Instead, the pilot, also known as “Naked Hotel,” will be produced by Warner Bros. TV. Drama takes place inside a luxury hotel where guests and staff interact.
