Tenney turns ‘Sixteen’; ‘Pool’ floats Brendon

'Buffy' vet joins Fox comedy

Tenney, whose TV credits include leading roles in “Brooklyn South,” “Kirstin” and “Get Real,” will star as a down-on-his-luck father who’s taken care of by his 16-year-old daughter.

“Sixteen to Life” comes from 20th Century Fox TV and Acme.

Meanwhile, Brendon joins Fox’s “Pool at Maddy Breakers” in the role of Jeff, opposite thesps Eric Nenninger (“Malcolm in the Middle”) as Bob and Matt Bushell (“Angel”) as Roger.

Brendon spent seven seasons as Xander on the cult fave “Buffy,” which ends its run this May. His other credits include the feature “Survival Island.” “Pool at Maddy Breakers” is produced by 20th Century Fox TV and Original.

As for Daniels, the vet thesp will play Cloris Leachman’s husband (and Peter MacNichol’s father) in CBS’ “Crazylove.”

The comedy laffer, from CBS Prods. and Touchstone TV, also stars Valerie Bertinelli. Daniels starred in “Boy Meets World” and “St. Elsewhere” and was the voice of David Hasselhoff’s car in “Knight Rider.”
