The story you’re about to read is true: Evan Dexter Parke and Eva Longoria have been added to the cast of “L.A. Dragnet.”
Parke and Longoria will appear opposite Ed O’Neill, who stars as the recently promoted Lt. Joe Friday. They’ll join an ensemble populated by previously announced new cast members Roselyn Sanchez, Desmond Harrington and Christina Chang.
Parke (“Planet of the Apes,” “The Replacements”) will appear as Det. James Cooper, who’s assigned to the LAPD’s Robbery Homicide Division after solving a series of gang slayings.
Longoria (“The Young and the Restless,” “Beverly Hills, 90210”) joins as Det. Vanessa Cruz, a psychology expert.
