Brent Hansen, the recently appointed prexy of MTV Networks Intl., has announced senior appointments in the areas of programming, music and creative.

London-based Harriett Brand has been named senior VP, talent and music. Position is an extension of exec’s current role running MTV Networks Europe’s talent and music department. She is responsible for all aspects of the company’s international music activities, as well as talent and artist relations.

Bill Flanagan has been named senior VP, editorial director. New York-based exec will also continue in his current domestic role as senior VP and editorial director of MTV Networks Music Group. For MTV Intl. he will oversee the development of international programming initiatives and lead the newly formed Intl. Programming Council.

Cristian Jofre has been promoted to senior VP and creative director. He will move to London in January from Miami, where he has been VP, marketing and creative director, for MTV Networks Latin America. Jofre will spearhead global on-air branding campaigns and direct creative aspects of the company’s programming initiatives.

The three execs will report to Hansen in their new international roles. Flanagan also continues to report to MTV Networks Group prexy Judy McGrath with regard to his U.S. programming responsibilities.
