Jennifer Lopez is signing with management shingle the Firm for representation in film, television and music.
The actress signed with CAA last week. That move came the day after she split with her agency, Endeavor, and with Handprint Entertainment, where she was repped by longtime manager Benny Medina. (Daily Variety, June 10)
Last week, the Firm laid off six managers in a bid to focus more intently on fewer clients.
Among the top actors repped by the Firm are Cameron Diaz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Samuel L. Jackson, Martin Lawrence and Benicio Del Toro.
The Firm also maintains a significant client base in the music world, repping Korn, Limp Bizkit and the Dixie Chicks.
Lopez, is preparing to begin production on “Shall We Dance?” opposite Richard Gere for Miramax Films. She just wrapped “An Unfinished Life” for Miramax and Revolution Studios. Her next release, Revolution’s “Gigli,” hits theaters July 30.
