Leno’s hair apparent of ‘Queer Eye’ redo

'Guy' cast will also give 'Tonight's' set a new look

NEW YORK — It’s gotta be the hair.

Next week, the cast of the summer’s reality sensation “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” will give Peacock latenight host Jay Leno a once-over.

“Queer Eye” stars will make their guest appearance on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” on Aug. 14, the same evening that NBC is set to air the second installment of the hit Bravo series on its broadcast net (Daily Variety, Aug. 4). “Queer” cast will return to Leno’s show the following night to reveal their makeover.

It’s not just Leno that will get a redo; the set of “Tonight” also will get a new look. Net insiders say the new set could be for keeps, depending.

The “Queer Eye” gang will travel to Los Angeles early next week to begin shopping for furniture and other oh-so-cool props.

Until then, Leno and his guests will just have to make do with the same old decor.
