David E. Kelley is making some changes to the “Brotherhood of Poland, N.H.”
While early buzz on the CBS drama has been positive, a good chunk of the pilot is now expected to be reshot. One of the goals is to lighten up certain elements of the skein, which revolves around three families in a small New England town — all experiencing some sort of turmoil.
In addition, the role of brother Waylon Shaw (Brian Haley) will be recast. A spokeswoman for DEK Prods. said the role “is being reconceived” and that Kelley hoped to have the actor return in another part.
“Brotherhood” is set to air Wednesdays at 10 p.m.
