Fulfillment org lauds ‘Champions’

Mentor award given to ICM topper Wiatt

Jay-Z performed before a slew of industryites and a large contingent of local teens during the 17th annual Fulfillment Fund Achievement Awards Saturday at the Kodak.

The org, dedicated to mentoring economically disadvantaged students, bestowed its Champion of Children honor upon William Morris CEO Jim Wiatt and his wife Elizabeth.

“When it comes to helping kids finish high school and go on to college, this one more than any other does that best,” Jim Wiatt said.

Revolution Studios partner Tom Sherak and his wife Madeleine dispensed community service awards during the fete. Other presenters included Michelle Rodriguez, Robert De Niro, Sidney Poitier, Brendan Fraser, Maria Shriver and Tony Danza.
