CAA inks to rep a busy Cassidy

Showrunner credits include 'Agency,' 'Gothic'

Shaun Cassidy has signed with CAA for representation in all areas.

In the past six years, Cassidy has emerged as one of TV’s more prolific scribes and showrunners, most recently creating and exec producing CIA-themed drama “The Agency,” which lasted two seasons on CBS.

Before that, he created and exec produced the Eye’s critically hailed horror drama “American Gothic” and USA Network’s “Cover Me.” Cassidy’s other network projects include Fox’s summer actioner “Roar,” which he co-created with Ron Kaslow, and “Players,” which he co-created with Dick Wolf, Ice T and Reggie Bythewood.

Cassidy began his showbiz career as a singer and actor. He scored more than 20 gold and platinum records. His small screen acting credits include “The Hardy Boys” and “Breaking Away.”

Scribe, who had been with the Kaplan-Stahler-Gumer Agency, continues to be repped by attorney Bob Myman.
