Brown skein scores big gain

Show sees 176% increase from debut

NEW YORK — Sophomore segment of “Topic A With Tina Brown” saw a triple-digit increase above its debut results.

This despite a full-page ad in the New York Times listing a 9 p.m. airdate; show actually aired at 10.

With 204,000 total viewers tuning in, surge repped a 176% gain from Brown’s first outing in April. Delivery was a 34% increase from lead-in “The Capitol Report.” In the news-watching adults 25-54 demo, show brought in 40,000 viewers, a slight decline from launch numbers.

Brown’s April 30 bow registered 74,000 total viewers and 47,000 adults 25-54.

Thursday’s program featured interviews with Michael Eisner, Jann Wenner and Radar editor and Brown protege Maer Roshan.
