Lisa Berger, who formerly served as exec VP of Fox Alternative Studios, has made an early departure from her producing deal at Basic Elements.
Basic Elements is the production company behind the WB’s upcoming “North Shore,” a reality skein revolving around seven pro surfers living in an Oahu beach house. Company is managed by Michele DiLorenzo of Carsey-Werner-Mandabach Ventures.
Berger served as exec producer of the reality skein, along with Bruce Toms.
She asked to be released early from her deal to produce Basic Elements shows after discovering she was expecting her second child, a Carsey-Werner-Mandabach spokesman told Daily Variety.
The spokesman also said that Berger’s work on “North Shore,” the first Basic Elements show to get up and running, is complete.
