HOLLYWOOD — David Miner, 3 Arts Entertainment’s Gotham chief, is relocating to Los Angeles. Move coincides with his decision to reup at 3 Arts via a multiyear contract.
Miner manages clients like “Curb Your Enthusiasm” exec producer and star Jeff Garlin, comedy troupe Broken Lizard (“Super Troopers”), “Saturday Night Live” alum Tina Fey and comedienne-actress Amy Sedaris.
Move comes after a year of sometimes weekly flights west.
“Hitting platinum level on American Airlines was never a career goal,” Miner quipped. “It will be nice to be in the same time zone as my family.”
At 3 Arts, Miner also reps talent at “Saturday Night Live,” “The Late Show With David Letterman,” “Late Night With Conan O’Brien,” “The Daily Show” and faux newspaper the Onion. Miner also exec produces the WB’s “Greetings From Tucson.”
Management company will keep its New York office, where talent manager Nick Frenkel continues to be based.
“We’ve had, and will always retain, very strong ties to the community there,” Miner said.
Miner is the second manager to move west from 3 Arts Gotham office in as many years, following former New York-based manager Dave Becky.
