Viva Media sees red in Q1

Music web group Viva Media, which broke even in 2002, has reported red ink for the first quarter 2003.

Compared with the first quarter of 2002, revenues fell by 17% to E 21 million ($24 million), net loss was $1.4 million, against a previous profit of $300,000.

Viva’s CEO, Dieter Gorny, said the company had been prepared to see figures go down on account of a continued lull in advertisements.
