NEW YORK — Arista Records has tapped Joe Mama Nitzberg as senior vice president of creative services, based in New York and reporting directly to Arista chief exec Antonio “L.A.” Reid.
In his new post, Nitzberg will oversee Arista’s online presence, as well as all DVD production operations. He’ll also hang on to his current post as creative director for the visual side of the company, supervising all photography, packaging, marketing and advertising.
Exec has been at Arista for just under two years, signing on as VP of creative services in 2001. He got started in the music business in 1997 as creative coordinator at Geffen Records, then worked as creative director for Interscope Geffen A&M for two years.
