COLOGNE — Film funding body Eurimages has slated 3.8 million euros ($4.3 million) for the support of 10 co-productions involving 14 European countries.

At its latest session held in Riga, Latvia, Eurimages awarded the largest single amount, $850,000, to French-Romanian production “Piccolo, Saxo et Compagnie” by helmer Andre Clavel. Robinson Savary snatched $635,000 for “Bye-bye Blackbird” and $737,000 went to Thomas Vinterberg’s “Dear Wendy,” penned by Lars von Trier. Amounts of around $450,000 were put aside for Mischa Alexander’s “Sportsman fan’e ieu,” Nadine Monfils’ “Madama Edouard,” and Yvan Le Molne’s “Vendredi et Robinson.”
