World Brief

Helmer Peter Dalle has started principal photography for “Apparently,” about passengers on a train between Stockholm and Berlin in 1945.

Produced by Patrick Ryborn for Fladen Film, and due to be released at Christmas by Sweden’s Buena Vista Intl., “Apparently” is one of two features backed by the Swedish Film Institute.

The film will receive $200,000 subsidy, while slightly more is allocated to Ragnar Di Marzo’s comedy “The Bitch Downstairs,” scripted by a group of Swedish authors — Manusgruppen — for Lukas Wojarski and Orkano to produce. The film will open in January.
