O'Donnell returns as host for seventh time

NEW YORK — Jennifer Lopez and Justin Timberlake lead the musical contingent at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice awards with three noms apiece, while “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets,” “Ice Age” and “Spider-Man” also brought in three noms each, including favorite pic.

Lopez earned honors in the female movie star, song (“Jenny from the Block”) and female singer categories. Timberlake was nominated for male singer and shared noms with ‘N Sync bandmates for favorite music group and song (“Girlfriend”).

Event’s 20 categories include book, sports team and male and female butt kicker.

Vidgame theme

Kudofest will take place April 12 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. This year, show will have a videogame theme: Celeb presenters will have to face off against virtual nemeses.

Rosie O’Donnell returns as host for the seventh year. Kudocast will air live on the East Coast.

Last year’s broadcast was a ratings hit for the channel, bringing in nearly 6 million viewers.
