A Hollywood-style walk of fame is being planned for Hong Kong’s Tsim Sha Tsui district waterfront.

Plans unveiled last week by the Hong Kong Tourism Board revealed the Avenue of Stars will feature plaques with handprints of Hong Kong actors, directors and producers; larger-than-life Hong Kong Film Awards statuettes; and a history of milestones in the film industry.

The Hong Kong Film Awards Assn. is leading the process to choose those to be featured on the avenue, which is skedded to open next year.
