LONDON — Blighty actor Ray Winstone’s production shingle Size 9 will begin production on TV drama “She’s Gone” in July.
Winstone will star in the project, commissioned by commercial web ITV1, about a businessman’s attempts to find his daughter who has gone missing in the seedy Istanbul underworld. U.K. TV scribe Simon Tyrrell has penned the script and Joshua St. Johnston produces.
“She’s Gone” is the first major production for Size 9, which Winstone runs with partner Michael Wiggs.
In the pipeline are TV bios of poet William Blake and Albert Pierrepoint, Britain’s last hangman. Both will star gangster pic regular Winstone.
Before “She’s Gone” shoots, Winstone flies to Dublin to star in Antoine Fuqua’s “King Arthur.” Jerry Bruckheimer-produced pic starts shooting June 18 and toplines Clive Owen.
