German director Michael Schorr’s feature debut, “Schultze Gets the Blues,” swept the prizes at the 14th Stockholm Film Festival, which ended Sunday. Pic won for feature, first feature, original screenplay (Schorr) and actor (Horst Krause).
South Korean director Sang Soo Im’s “A Good Lawyer’s Wife” won for actress (Sori Moon) and cinematography (Kim Woohyong). U.K. director Andrea Arnold’s “WASP” was named best short, and lead actress Natalie Press received the Honorary Diploma.
The Fipresci jury gave its trophy to French director Siegried Alnoy’s “Elle est des notres” and voted Danish director Sami Saif’s “Dogs & Deer — Dogville Confessions” best Nordic film.
