CANNES — Lions Gate Films Intl. has sold all rights in virtually all territories on its two new titles “The Final Cut,” starring Robin Williams, and “The Prince and the Freshman,” starring Julia Stiles and Ben Miller.
Shingle also wrapped a number of territorial sales in remaining territories for the crime thriller “Wonderland,” starring Val Kilmer.
“Cut,” the latest in a series of Lions Gate/Cinerenta partnerships, has been sold to Eagle Pictures in Italy, Filmax in Spain, LNK in Portugal, Les Films de L’Elysee in Benelux, Scanbox in Scandinavia, Film+ in Russia, Spentzos in Greece and Cyprus, Lark in Hong Kong, JHH in Poland, Myndform in Iceland, Eagle Films in the Middle East and Blitz in Croatia.
“Freshman” has been bought by Eagle Pictures for Italy, Filmax for Spain, LNK for Portugal, RCV for Benelux, Nordisk for Scandinavia, Film+ for Russia, Myndform for Iceland, Eagle Films for the Middle East, Blitz for Croatia, Pioneer for the Philippines and WPM for Thailand.
“Wonderland” sold to Metro Tartan for U.K., Hoyts for Australia/New Zealand, Filmax for Spain, PWI for Latin America excluding Brazil and ProRom for Romania.
