Jimmy Fallon has hopped aboard “Taxi” — and found a way to make his feature starring debut while keeping his “Saturday Night Live” anchor job as well.

Fallon has been set to star with Queen Latifah in 20th Century Fox’s remake of the French comedy. “Barbershop” helmer Tim Story directs the pic, which Luc Besson is producing.

Because the film will be shot in Gotham locations, Fallon will be able to play a harried detective and continue sharing the Weekend Update desk with partner Tina Fey.

Latifah plays a cabbie whose ability to navigate Gotham streets makes her the perfect chauffeur for a detective trying to thwart a group of bank robbers.

“Drumline” scribe Tina Gordon Chism was recently brought in for a rewrite, and filming is set to begin in September, with Fox’s Emma Watts overseeing the pic.
