Oscar nommed Grant penned sibling rivalry pic

Scott Free’s Lisa Elzey will oversee “Shoes” for the Fox-based company, while Fox 2000 exec Carla Hacken will ride herd on production for studio topper Elizabeth Gabler.

Scott Free creative exec Erin Upson brought the project to the shingle.

Grant, like Diaz, is repped by CAA, and received an original screenplay Oscar nom for “Erin Brockovich.” Other credits include “28 Days,” “Ever After” and “Pocahontas.”

Weiner created a splash with her first novel “Good in Bed,” a 2001 bestseller about a Philadelphia reporter obsessed with her weight and men.
