Director Martin Campbell recounted trying conditions encountered filming “Beyond Borders” during Wednesday night’s Q&A following pic’s unspooling in the Variety Screening Series. Crew endured temps ranging from 30-below zero to 110 above while shooting the Angelina Jolie starrer about refugee workers.The tough film shoot was not without it’s lighter moments, though. Campbell told the ArcLight aud about a child actor who was behaving so badly (“making sand castles”) that an animatronic kid was brought in to replace him.
