‘Addicted’ redo hooks team

Intermedia to finance thriller about mistaken identity

Guy East and Nigel Sinclair’s Spitfire Pictures is teaming with Roy Lee and Doug Davison’s Vertigo on “Addicted,” a remake of the Korean thriller “Jungadok.” Michael Petroni (“The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys”) will write the script.

Pic is a psychological thriller about a woman whose husband collides with his brother in a freak accident. Both men end up in comas and complications arise when one brother awakens and thinks he’s his sister-in-law’s husband.

Intermedia will finance the film, with VP Alex Litvak overseeing with Spitfire’s Alex Brunner.
