Sanjay Bhansali’s “Devdas” won 11 awards including film, director, actor (Shah Rukh Khan), actress (Aishwarya Ray) and supporting actress (Madhuri Dixit) at the 48th Filmfare Awards in Mumbai.
Raj Kumar Santoshi’s “The Legend of Bhagat Singh” bagged the critics award for best film. Veteran actor Jeetendra and ac-tress Rekha received awards for lifetime achievement while Vivek Oberoi won debutant kudos. Composer A.R. Rahman won the award for music for “Saathiya,” starring Oberoi.
The Filmfare honors, India’s equivalent of the Oscars, are put on by Filmfare magazine.
