Taylor, Gould ink to change ‘Baby’

Thesps join Eye laffer slated to bow this spring

Holland Taylor (“The Practice”) and Elliott Gould (“Ocean’s Eleven”) have joined the cast of the CBS midseason laffer “Baby Bob.”

Thesps will play the grandparents of talking tyke Bob, the 6-month-old infant whose vocalization skills provide his Los Angeles-based family with unique challenges. Adam Arkin and Joely Fisher had previously been cast as Bob’s parents in the Viacom Prods. laffer. Kenny Campbell supplies the voice of Bob.

Also new to the “Bob” cast: Tamara Mello as Bob’s babysitter and Marisa Tait as Arkin’s office assistant.

In addition to her recurring role as Judge Roberta Kittleson on “The Practice,” Taylor’s small screen credits include the 1995 Tea Leoni laffer “The Naked Truth” and numerous drama and comedy series guest appearances.

On the feature side, Taylor’s recently been seen in “Legally Blonde” and “The Truman Show.”

Gould, who plays vengeful Vegas power baron Reuben Tishkoff in the “Oceans 11,” has a recurring role on NBC’s “Friends.” His long list of feature credits include “American History X,” “The Player” and “MASH.”

Skein is slated to bow this spring on CBS.

Taylor is repped by the Gersh Agency, while Gould is repped by CAA.
