Originals on Court docket

Cabler adds 'I-Zone,' 'Forensic' to primetime line-up

Capitalizing on the success of its original doc programming, Court TV has rejiggered its sked to feature all original programming during primetime.

“This change should secure Court TV’s place as the leader in investigative television,” said Art Bell, net’s exec VP of programming and marketing. “The rich wellspring of investigative, forensic and detective subjects has clearly struck a chord with our growing audience.”

Sked kicks off Sept. 30 and runs Monday- Saturday 8-11 p.m.

At 8 p.m., hourlong “I-Zone” takes a look at real-life Hollywood mysteries. At 9, signature series “Forensic Files” will be shown back-to-back, except on Wednesdays. That day, interactive skein “I Detective” will air.

At 10 p.m., net will air award-winning series “The Investigators.”

Saturday’s evening lineup will be hosted by thesp Andrea Thompson under banner “The Saturday Solution.”

New slate shifts broadcasts of “NYPD Blue” from 8 p.m. to 11.
