Robert Demond Guillory, a promising young man working as a production assistant for the sitcom “My Wife and Kids” was shot dead Feb. 16 in L.A. He was 25.
He was driving near Stocker Street and Crenshaw Boulevard that afternoon when he was shot. Police said the gunman mistook Guillory for a rival gang member.
Guillory graduated from Dorsey High School and later received a bachelor’s degree from San Jose State. He broke into show business with the goal of someday writing music for films.
He is survived by his parents and a brother.
