Peacock’s nest includes de la Fuente

Actor joins 'Hills' skein

Thesp Cristian de la Fuente has inked a talent holding deal with NBC that also calls for him to become a recurring cast member of the net’s frosh laffer “Hidden Hills.”

Pact calls for the Peacock to place de la Fuente in a 2003-04 drama or comedy series. In addition, thesp will appear in up to eight episodes of “Hills,” reprising a role he played earlier this season.

NBC casting chief Marc Hirschfeld said NBC snagged de la Fuente because of his versatility as an actor and his broad appeal.

“One of the things we love about him is not only is he incredibly sexy so that women find him appealing, but guys find him to be a real man’s man,” Hirschfeld said. “He’s a good actor who’s charming and incredibly versatile.”

In addition to starring opposite Sylvester Stallone in helmer Renny Harlin’s 2001 feature “Driven,” de la Fuente’s film roles include parts in “Vampires: Los Muertos” and the upcoming John McTiernan thriller “Basic.” He was also a series regular on the CBS drama “Family Law.”

Thesp is repped by ICM and manager Diane Perez.
