Stewart F. Lane has joined Anita Waxman and Elizabeth Williams as producer of transfer productions from London’s Donmar Warehouse.
Last season, Waxman Williams Entertainment produced a West End staging of David Mamet’s “Boston Marriage,” following its run at the Donmar. The play is now skedded for a new production in November at the Public Theater, starring Kate Burton and Martha Plimpton. Waxman Williams and Lane will produce any subsequent commercial run of the show.
Future New York projects include the Donmar production of Christopher Hampton’s “Tales From Hollywood.”
Previously, Waxman and Williams were producers of the Donmar’s “Electra” (1998) and “The Real Thing” (2000) on Broadway.
Lane is a producer of “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” with Waxman Williams represented on Broadway with “Flower Drum Song,” which opened Thursday.
