NEW YORK — The road roster slimmed down to a mere nine shows during Week 6 (July 1-7), as more than half a dozen shows went on holiday layoff.

Grosses dipped to $7,270,355, a slide of more than 30%.

The usual performers, “Mamma Mia!” and “The Lion King,” led the roster, although one company of “The Lion King” was on layoff.
