Flanders unveils soundtrack noms

Zimmer up for four, Newman three

LONDON — The Flanders Film Festival has unveiled the nominees for the annual World Soundtrack Awards, to be held at the fest in Ghent, Belgium Oct. 19.

Leading the nominees is Hans Zimmer, in with four nods for “Black Hawk Down” and “Spirit, Stallion of Cimarron.” Meanwhile, Randy Newman is up for three awards for his work on “Monsters, Inc.”
