One of Latin-America’s most admired thesps, Argentinian Federico Luppi, (“Cronos,” “Martin Hache”) will make his directorial debut early next year, helming an intimist drama, “Pasos.”

Set in the Pyrenees in the 1980s, pic turns on three couples confronting divorce. Luppi will feature in the film, but not in one of the biggest roles.

Co-produced by Fernando Camara’s Agraz in Mexico, “Pasos” will be one of the latest productions by Angel Amigo’s San Sebastian-based Igeldo Komunikazioa.
