Movie Magic’s ScriptLog signs on

Cyberbiz Brief

Movie Magic Technologies, formerly known as Creative Planet, has launched Movie Magic ScriptLog, a software package that manages script submissions.

New offering, targeted at development execs, agents and managers, keeps track of where company projects have been sent for open writing assignments, directing assignments and casting. An extensive reporting feature helps prepare for meetings by providing up-to-the-minute project status, weekend read and coverage reports. Program, which can be integrated with Movie Magic Studio System, is also easily customized. Movie Magic ScriptLog also gives companies the ability to save entire script libraries as electronic files where additional information such as writers lists, project notes and casting ideas can be stored. Encryption enables a variety of permission levels to control access to confidential material.

Pricing is based on a company’s volume of submissions and a percentage of its annual savings. This price includes costs to convert a client’s existing data into the ScriptLog database.
