WASHINGTON — Motion Picture Assn. of America prexy-CEO Jack Valenti on Wednesday named Mark Howe chief financial officer and treasurer of the MPAA and the trade org’s international sibling, the Motion Picture Assn.
Howe, who now serves as MPAA/MPA director of finance for worldwide antipiracy, will succeed John Collins, who will retire May 3.
Howe will be responsible for the fiscal operation of all departments, including commercial, antipiracy, digital strategy group, research, legal, information systems and federal and date legislation.
“Over the past decade, Mark has proven himself an invaluable member of the management team, and I have every confidence the association and its members will be well-served by Mark’s talent for alacrity, level-headedness and expert fiscal management,” Valenti said.
