UPC expanding niche bouquet in Germany

Club, Expo 24/7 channels to bow on PrimaCom

AMSTERDAM — UPCtv, the programming arm of United Pan-Europe Communications, is launching two additional niche channels in Germany.

German cable operator PrimaCom already carries UPCtv’s Innergy, Avante and Extreme Sports channels and as of Sept. 1 will add women’s channel Club and style, design and visual arts channel, Expo 24/7.

Amsterdam-based UPCtv has eight niche channels it is rolling out across Europe.
